Stesen Sentral has been mistakenly called KL Central by most people if not all. KL Central is the whole area built around Stesen Sentral as the nucleus consisting of Luxury Apartments, Office Suites, office towers, Suasana Central Condominium, Plaza Sentral, Hotel Towers and Lifestyle facilities.  Located at a spot  that can be considered central within Kuala Lumpur but not within the city centre. The area surrounding it is buzzing with development and Stesen Central stood as a connector. Bangsar, Brickfields, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and Kelang is all easily connected to KL Central through Stesen Sentral. All these mentioned zones can be accessed easily by light rail transits. The only area that is not quite connected directly by LRT’s  is the Puchong, Kinrara and Bukit Jalil zones.

Stesen Central is accessible by road through Jalan Istana, Jalan Bangsar, Jalan tun Sambanthan and Jalan Syed Putra.
