The municipality of the city of Kuala Lumpur administered by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur covers an area of 243.65 km2 (94.07 sq mi), with an average elevation of 21.95 m (72.0 ft). Kuala Lumpur is not only bricks and stones but a blend of nature and modernisation. If one were to walk around the city, it is very visible that there are still trees to maintain the ecosystem. Green lungs still covers parts of Kuala Lumpur. Besides the Taman Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur has a few golf courses to cater for the needs of golfers staying within and around Kuala Lumpur.
One of the golf course in the centre of the city is the Royal Selangor Golf Club located at Jalan Tun Razak (see Google Map for location). The golf club was formed in 1893 and has three courses namely the old course (Par 72 6220 metres) , new course (Par 72 5964 metres) and Sulaiman course (Par 30 1957 metres).
