Smoked duck (Itik salai) is not a popular Malay food but if you stumble upon it once in a while it can be something that your can savour. Some food that can be considered rare. Even duck dishes is in itself not among the top choice among Malays.
Along the road from Seremban to Kuala Pilah there is a roadside stall specialising in smoked duck (Itik Salai) and catfish. Our Sahabat Media CC1M entourage made a brief stop at the stall at Kampung Pauh, Terachi, Negeri Sembilan. If you are travelling from Seremban towards Kuala Pilah, the stall is located on the right side of the road not far after the Ulu Bendul Recreation forest. Be careful because the roadside is a bit narrow and dangerous with cars travelling at quite a speed.
