Fried Ice Cream

Do you feel that it is strange to fry ice cream? Well, not until you see and taste it for yourself. Even though this desert is not that popular but to try for yourself is a good experience. We have that in Kuala Lumpur. I took my family for dinner at a restaurant near Ampang Park. Its the Lotus Nasi Kandar Penang Resturant is located at Jalan Binjai the back of Ampang Park LRT station and across the road from Nikko Hotel. See map HERE.

It is the normal ice cream and is filled in a flour casing before being fried. After being fried and ready this is what it looks like.

This is what is inside. Just imagine the ice cream did not melt totally even after it was deep fried. Are you surprise? This desert can be considered one of the rare food that you can find in Malaysia. Unlike other normal ice cream, you can't find this everywhere.
