Sahabat Media CC1M FAM Trip To Negeri Sembilan

Negeri Sembilan is the only state in Malaysia that uphold the Adat Perpatih and they can trace their descendants back to Pagar Ruyong in Sumatra. The brief history was mentioned by YAM Tunku Zain Al-Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz when the Sahabat Media CC1M FAM Trip to Negeri Sembilan had an audience with him at the Muzium Diraja Istana Seri Menanti in Negeri Sembilan.

Sahabat Media CC1M visited the state of Negeri Sembilan to help promote tourism in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2014. The event was in organised by  mmode and santai travel in colloboration with  Tourism Negeri Sembilan and Tourism Malaysia.

There are 40 of us in the entourage comprising of media representatives and bloggers and we depart from MaTIC in Kuala Lumpur to Klana Resort as our first stop. We we given a grand welcome with the Director of Klana Resort himself putting the garland on us to the background music of the Caklempong performed live.

We were then entertained to a welcome drink of Klana Resort's signature drink, Ice Lemon Tea with Lychee and followed by a press conference at the Cascade Lobby Lounge by the Director of Klana Resort, Y.B Haji Abu Samah bin Mahat and Acting General Manager, Encik Saiful Bahri Mat Tahir. 

After the briefing about Klana Resort and its program for the future we were taken to the 6th Floor for room review. The 6th floor housed the Suites where there is the Presidential suite, Executive Suite, VIP Suite and the Klana Lounge.

During our visit, there's a pengantin in the Presidential suite and it is a coincidence that they were given wide coverage by the media.

Klana Resort is just about 45 minutes drive away from Kuala Lumpur and three hours from Singapore through the North South Highway. It is also about an hour drive from KLIA. The hotel is nestled in the cool and lush green secondary forest atmosphere but is just about 2 minutes away from the Seremban Lake Garden and 3 minutes to Seremban town. 

There are 230 tastefully decorated and spacious rooms furnished with modern amenities plus free WiFi. Rooms varies from Presidential Suite, VIP Suite, and Executive Suites to Family, Deluxe and Superior Rooms.

All rooms has a private balconies. 

Klana Resort also offer guest with additional services and facilities at the Klana lounge on level 6 and also at the Business centre. Other services offered are laundry services, Baby-sitting (upon request), separated Suraus for male and female, Luggage room, Limo/taxi services and open car park. 

After the press conference and briefing we were entertained to lunch at the Xinjiang Court Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant is one of the dining outlets at Klana Resort. There are also the Selera Coffee House with open air terrace section for smokers, and the Yuri Japanese Restaurant. 

At the end of the 8th course, all of us seems to be bloated and most are worrying about how to attend the Teambuilding Activity scheduled for us as listed in the itenary. The Yuri Japanese restaurant next to Selesa Coffee house and being a Japanese restaurant of course food are suited to Japanese tastebuds. We made a brief tour ot the restuarant and beside the normal chair and table, it also has the tatami room where guest sits on the floor Japanese style. 

Function Rooms

Klana Resort is not only a venue for holidays or retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life (even it is just a mere 3 minutes drive from Seremban town)  but also a location for serious business. There is the Grand Kelana with a 1392 Sq.M space for your grand functions or break up into four smaller rooms to suit your programs.  

Besides the Grand Klana Ballroom, Klana Resort also has 14 function rooms of different built up space to suit your meeting needs. 

Great hotels will no be complete without add-ons and Klana Resort too has those. After your tiring day wind up at the Seri Ratu Spa next to the swimming pool. Seri Ratu Spa provides herbal treatment including Ratu Herbal Sauna, Ratu Kerik Angin Massage and Ratu Facial ranging from RM35.00 to RM100. 

Seri Ratu Spa also has ite Signature Treatment that is Ratu Postnatal Treatment. It is a Malay culture where women who give birth had to go through a detailed postnatal care which is known as berpantang (confinement) in order to help her recover physically and psychologically.
