Organising this conference means Ministry of Tourism (MOTOUR) has took on social media to reach the public and promote Malaysia as a tourism destination while at the same time honouring tourism bloggers for helping promoting the country across the globe.
The two days conference is expected to be attended by social media aggregators, media personnels and those in the tourism industry. There are also invited speakers and I found one while doing a search on the internet. Of course I have registered myself.
The bloggers award will be held at Saloma Bistro just next to MOTOUR. Nomination for the award will still be open until 24th April and nomination criteria can be found HERE. Voting has already been open and will end on 1st of May 2012.
